About
My name is Mehvish /meh-wish/. I have been working as a product designer for the past three years. During my undergrad, I learned to design aircraft wings, and now, I design digital solutions for a living. Although the fields are different, my approach to solving problems remains the same—driven by curiosity and always asking 'why'.
What Defines My Work
As a designer, I never shy away from asking questions—whether complex or simple—to ensure the narrative is set right.
I take the iteration process seriously and believe that gathering feedback is crucial to getting things right.
I believe designers alone cannot solve all problems; collaboration with different teams is the key to success.
I adapt to the nature of the problem I’m given—I can work effectively within constraints and find creative solutions.
What I’m Currently Up To
Currently, I lead the design team at PagarBook, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and strategic alignment with business goals.
What I do for fun
When I’m not moving pixels, I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts on human psychology and neuroscience. I love experimenting with cooking and exploring cuisines from different cultures. I'm also an anime lover and a die-hard fan of Ghibli Studio—it even inspired me to start learning Japanese (Konnichiwa!). And when I’m done ruining my kitchen or binge-watching anime, I recharge by diving back into a good book.
What I’m Seeking
I am eager to learn from other talented designers, continuously improve my craft, and give back to the community (all) as I grow.
